Description
I have decided that cats are much harder to draw than dogs (at least for me)! I'm not sure why, but their faces seem so "well-balanced" that the slightest deviation from reality throws the whole face out of proportion, giving it a grotesque, flat, or even cartoonish look. I'll keep practicing.
Meanwhile, I'll cheat and post this drawing of a kitten with its eyes closed--that seems to simplify matters a bit! Thanks for looking, and any "cat" suggestions welcome.

i agree with you that cats (and particulary kittens ) are harder to draw than dogs, but this is excellent, love the sleepy expression
