Description

A new Terragen 2 Alpha image, this time showing the possibility of true 3D waves, the greater realism and flexibility of the water shapes, and of course the always lovely volumetric clouds. Slight post contrast adjustment and a subtle "glow" filter were applied. No downsampling.

Oh, man - I'm getting seasick just looking at this... Those waves are top-notch! And so are the clouds. TG2 will be well worth the wait - thanks, Oshyan!

Been a while since I visited this gallery, and i must say this is fantastic, not only the waves ( altough they have a painted look that may be caused by the light), but the clouds look very real too. Excellent work Oshyan.

Thanks everyone. Bruno, I did apply some post effects to give it a bit of a "dreamy" quality, so that's probably what you're seeing. :)

Very natural looking waves, the best made in 3D apps I've seen. Lighting / reflexion are realistic too, an impressive render !

Now these are waves!!! You feel as if you are in the prow of the boat taking a shot of the horizon. Excellent.

wow, that's amazing. But the light reflections look a bit,,,i don't know, as if they are missing some anti-alising. But hey, this is the best waves i have seen in the 3d world
