Description

After a 100 yrd. walk through razor sharp reef and rocks, and young man skipping school for the day prepares to leap into the shallow waters and battle incoming waves to reach the line up. This area in Pohoiki is one of the more dangerous places to boogie board because the reef is so shallow and the rocks stick out at low tide...But as most surfers know, if the waves are good, it's well worth the risk. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, thanks for stopping by! Aloha~

kind of like taking photos, if the shot is worth it then the danger involved becomes secondary, like you say...WTF..lol! nicely done on the toning and composition, a very cool action shot!!! outstanding capture my friend!!!

Great shot and tone. Makes me cringe though thinking of those rocks sticking up down there. I hope he was okay. :=)

Wow, very impressive action capture, perfect work, frozen in the air! Quite a leap of faith, but I guess the timing will be perfect for this guy to jump into the water instead of falling on the rocks! Excellent work!
