Description

The XV1 Colegiata in Medinaceli. It is probably built on the site of a Roman temple. The village was in an important military position for the Romans. Some say they have seen the ghost of a Roman centurion on guard duty, standing on the paseo on the edge of the hill. Not me! But I did see the ghost of a medieval Jew. Sorry, no camera with me at the time! Many thanks for all previous comments.

Eh..how come im the first to comment? I love this one. Love that tilted POV, that tree-shadow, bars on the windows...and not to mention that old man locking up with his back to you. This is super!!! Have a great weekend #:O)

I wonder why all the bars on the windows and gates? Are vandals that bad they can't even respect a church never mind history? Great shot and history. :=)

I love this shot...the shadows in the foreground and the lazy, end of the day tip of the whole pic. Too bad the vicar needs to lock up a place of worship. Moody shot, I say. sigh. :0)
