Description

What's the most difficult thing to paint? I think it's the human smile ... it means everything to us but it's most difficult for artists ... there's nothing more wonderful but most difficult:) Done with PS7 and Intuos A5. No filters, no photomanipilation, no custom brushes or other tools, software used: only Photoshop 7. Started from white background, free-hand-sketch from DVD cap. This was a present for a friend:) And I'm happy with that. Really happy. And very content as I have not been since a finished Verity. You can see a making of with screenshots in the forum: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12358&Form.ShowMessage=2342283 Enjoy Art and Life Nicky

I have found that drawing and painting men is so much harder than women. You have done a wonderful job. ~lost

well done, nicky... looks cool - even though - i have to admit it looks a bit "flat" - you could try to add some more "highlights"...

must say I admire your work very much! I can only achieve photo realism in my 2d pen/pencil/acrylic works and haven't quite gotten it down digitaly as far as people go. I now have hope seeing your works :)
