Description

Welcome! This is my first attempt at digital painting..I painted the hair and the dress in PS CS and added touches of skin color to the character.Im exhausted..LOL..There are some adjustments to be made but I'll do better next time.. That's really good for a first attempt. Much better than my first try! I like the curl you've got on the hair, that's something I always have trouble with!

Not a bad start at all! You have a nice design for the clothes and the hair. I suggest, though, that you add more contrast and depth with shadows and highlights. For example, darker hair around her face, under her chin and the side of her head away from the direction of the light. Also, be sure that you get right up next to the figure when painting...see the little while outline? Hope this doesn't offend you, that's not my intention. :) This is an excellent start...you should have seen mine when I first started...and I'm no where near an expert now! Lovely pose and the hair looks really great :) Little tip: zoom in and draw very thin strokes, you already have all the highlights and shadows in the right place which is very good :)
