Description

I waited for these lovelies to show up. Each year they would come and find the same spots for hunting perches..the antenna on my truck and the one on the van. Last year only one, only once came to visit. I talk to them as I approach with camera. Macro has given me fits lately, too much out of focus, too much movement(these are camera overhead hand shots)and too much shine off their reflective heads. These came out ok. Notice the way they seem to look at the camera..or me. That must be sight to see from their eyes. Nature is wonderful stuff! Sometimes we are fortunate enough to "capture" some of it to keep. For that, I say "thank you"

I like the second one better cos it has such a great feeling of movement like if the beauty was fighting against the wind, holding tight to that antenna to avoid being taken away!!
