Description

This image is very close to the exposure from camera. "I see you" comes from the eye of this lovely insect peering apparently through one of its left wings at the camera or me. Rather than a specimen, I see this creature as life, life of a sort we only view and do not always appreciate. That is part of the intent of the picture: A living creature unique in ways among creatures, doing what it must each day. I am not trying for a macro insect image here...only a peek from a slightly different point of view of these creatures. As in the last dragonflies posted, this one in resting on my antennae. TomDart. Nikon D70,187mm(35mm equivalent),ISO 400, f/16, 1/60 sec. Taken from 2 feet distance.
