Description

The last of Winter's snow melts away into the warm waters of the Little Colorado giving way to the growth of blue/green algae. World-wide, this simple plant is one of the largest producers of oxygen. The terrain is the 4097 'The Sleeper' available at http://www.imaginature.us . The sky, surfaces and water work are a blend of settings by choronr and Buzzzzz. Thank for visiting; and for your suggestions for improvement!

Very nice, captures some of the blue/green tint the Little Colorado picks up in its water ( along with minerals and a bit of a smell ) on its way to meet the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon. Have not seen it where your terrain is, where it meets up it is narrow and has very mild rapids which can be body surfed on one's back with a life-jacket on your bottom to avoid some rocks bumping too hard. Recommended "Great Fun" if you every get the chance! Very nice render!

The total is awhsome. If you had the time, the water appears to be a different resolution than the distant shore and mountains. The shore has haze giving the feel of a greater distance, where as the water meeting the shore has no haze.

Having read through all the comments, I have to say this is a beautiful render. You've created a stunning photograph even though it's Terragen. This is positively beautiful and truely one of the best I've had the pleasure to view today. Sometimes the simplest makes the most gorgeous pictures. This is one of them!!!!
