Description
The "Green Giant" is a huge craft. Designed to travel almost as well underwater as on land. Although it doesn't float, it's quite happy wading along the river bed, or in the shallow waters of an ocean. Here we see it sitting in the clear waters off the coast of one of the small island in the South Pacific. Waiting quietly, patiently for orders.
I tried to postwork the water breaking against the side, but nothing I tried looked right. So this is unpostworked, apart froma slight level adjustment to get the colours right.
Wings model, Bryce texture and render.
Thanks for looking.

Excellent image! :)

Cool idea I liekthe way you do industrial joints. Would like to see it out of the water to get a better look at the locomotion system.

Excellent modeling and not a bad image at all. Well done.

Excellent work, reminds me of crocodile waiting to abush an unsuspecting prey.

Well done. Reminds me of some of the craft in the old RTS game "Total Annihilation".

Cripes...wish I could model like that with Wings.

/drawbridgep kicks draculaz They're not satellite dishes, they use microwaves and ELF. Spetzav - Very good, I nearly called it crocodile, since I thought the same thing.

Hell of a modeling job. Hell of a pic. This is awsome. Regardless, the water effects are superb.

ohh men your works are incredible...creative compound

If you added breaking water/foam, that would just tip off the enemy!...possible that the camoflague paint has properties in it that limit the friction of the surface to amphibious detection!
Sixaxis
Super cool, your work is always great. If interested I have discovered a so simple you would never think of it otherwise "cheat" to do water ripples and breaks for just this sort of thing.
