Description
Probably no big surprise - but today I bring you yet another shot from Lofoten (in northern Norway). I'm skipping pictures like crazy to avoid making the series too long - but I've still got a lot of pictures that I'll post - and the best ones will come towards the end.
Here I have reached the top of the valley I was following in yesterdays shot - and the view opens up towards Norskehavet (the Norwegian Ocean, next stop Greenland). In the distance you can see more mountains of the kind that is characteristic of Lofoten, sharp alpine peaks rising straight from the sea. Below me, but out of sight in this image, there is an amazing beach with white sand - and the water temperature can sometimes reach all of 10 degrees celsius (best to stay on land in other words).
