Jim- I REALLY like this direction that youre taking!!! It's very thought provoking & shows much emotion and inner thinking to combine with your creativity. It's what TRUE ART really is!!!

very creative work... the smoke stacks being the bridge towers & the clouds the smoke... sucking up those car exhausts as you drive in acid wash color.. ;] some great ideas come when driving...

Great picture. Beautiful and powerful. It would have been great if you wouldn't have your hand on the glasses. The hand on the wheel is perfect. You make a lot of statemnts about what we are doing badly to the environment. In their unique content and startling compositon they wake us up and reveal wht we need to see. However, what about some positive visions. Where do we go when we wake up.

WOW! this is incredible, Jim!!!!!! took a bit for it all to sink in!!! The oil tankers which comprise the frame are THE BOMB!!!!! (oops...Freudian slip..hehe!) :) Seriously, the frame is actually a part of the image and that's what really makes this one over the top!!! I keep studying this and can't figure out how in world you did this! how do i interpret this? War surrounds us. The frame represents the war which permeates every part of our country. we can't escape it, but really, so many of us just don't see it. We look ahead, behind, and even still, it's not visible in our peripheral vision. That's because the war is happening thousands of miles away and not on our soil. It's just not a part of our picture, our daily life...like it is theirs. We drive to work every day, seemingly oblivious to the devastation that's happening. If we take a few moments though to try to see the world thru someone else's eyes, then we see the truth. Well, that's my take on your picture. it's probably about pollution, but those tankers that comprise the frame make me think otherwise. You put a helluva lot of thought and work into this. One of the best social commentaries i've ever seen. And the image...perfect 10!!!
