Description

A remote canyon area, heated by a blistering sun. A freak torrential downpour does it's best to cool the super hot stone; the canyons respond by turning the flood waters to steam instead. It's been very hot and humid here in the midwestern U.S., as well as many other places. My outdoor work activity leaves me drained, and not at all as inspired as I usually feel. Thankfully, I have all of your galleries to cruise through when I need a recharge! Terragen, Photo Shop. Strata and overlay images are all from photos I've shot in local quarries and outcropings. Your point of view and sun position has provided this excellent scene. The strata has a very nice distribution while the surfaces and their colors compliment it beautifully. Your sky gives the sense of vastness of this area. I like the low haze here as well. Outstanding creation Paul!

AWEsome terrain and surface work, including the strata. Excellent lighting, cool POV, and I like the light, mist-covered water. Realistic and excellent!
