Description

A galactic neighbor of sorts- somewhere in our own milky way, but still out of reach of any current space travel. A solar system made up of only a few planets and moons, circling a lazy, yellow sun. Trouble is, it just happens to be in the path of some errant meteors that also orbit the system. Every now and then, one or two of them come to visit- pulled this way by the gravity of the planet in the background. This little moon takes several hits a millenium, and keeps the scars for along time- a time so long, it's almost unmeasurable. If a meteor strikes a planet, and no one's around, is there a noise? Terragen, Photo Shop; the planet is TG. The terrain is from Terrasource. Wear plenty of sunscreen, watch for mosquitos, and comment if you like.

This is very similar to a backdrop I painted a few years ago. I was among very few who were still being hired to paint backdrops, and rapidly replaced by blue screens and people like you. Excellent work Paul.
