Hi, my name is Kim. My husband, Frank (ddaydreams) and I live in the Eastern Sierras, California, USA. We started out working with graphic programs like CoralDraw and Bryce. Mostly with digital artwork. I enjoyed making fractals and incorporating them with other programs, then I started adding artwork to some old photos I had. I use to be more into photography years ago, but never had the money (or time) to pursue it for more then a casual hobby. When the digital cameras became a little more affordable and we saw the ease of use and the things we could accomplish with our graphics programs...... well there you have it! One day Frank said "you ought to post one of your pictures at Renderosity" and the rest is history! Now we have artwork and photos in local galleries, a couple calendars out there, and we are even thinking about publishing a book!
And I have to give most of the credit to all the wonderful friends I have met right here on Renderosity!!!! Everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!!!
Thank you for viewing my gallery and check back often to see what progress we are making.

In truth, I like them both quite well! I just want to be there! Exquisite!

I agree with Paul. Me like them both two....so why not combine the best out of two worlds? Keep the water in your previous version and just add these trees to it? Use a layermask, and paint in the water with a soft brush. Or add a gaussian blur to the mask once youve painted it. That way you get a smooth transission between those two layers. That would of course require you having an editing software that supports masks and layers...bla bla...The capture itself remains just as beautiful by the way. Love how calm this is...ooops...bla bla bla....hope you had a great hike today, and that you return with some beautiful photos. #:O)

i like the details of this and che colours of your previous... would you try to duplicate the layer, set transparency to 50% to the above layer and add a little bit of gaussian blur to the under level... if you want, try to add diffuse glow ... maybe is what you're searchin' for...

right, the trees are looking better here but I agree that the water and the reflections are looking better in your last posting! and look at the shore here, it seems to look unreal and cutted! maybe you should have used the postwork only on the upper half of your shot! ;o)
