Description
Found myself awake at about 4am staring at the ceiling.
Finally decided to give in and burn off some restless energy.
This was the result. It's not much, but I did manage to sleep afterward.
They say that the darkest hour is just before dawn.
They also say that time heals all wounds.
I always wonder who they are and what they know.
Some things seem to get harder with the passage of time.
Today is always a tough day on the calendar for me, and doubly so this year.
But there are brilliant rays of sunshine peeking over the horizon at me this year as well.
This is for those that I'm missing terribly.

Wow.. I really wish that I had something profound to say, but I'm surprisingly finding myself at a loss for words. The image is particularly touching to me because I know the emotion behind it. I don't know that time heals all wounds, they just eventually become easier to bear. Just keep your eyes on the lights on the horizon, and you'll get through...kk huge hugs About the image, your lighting, as always is lovely, and I love the subtlety of the hand on his shoulder. Nice work!

What a soulful image. You suffer from the artists'creative lament. We can't shut down at night the way we should..unless we get all the creative juices out for the day. Atleast I and a few friends feel this way. Here's hoping you do have brighter days.
