I'm usually a 30-something graphic designer/architect/urban planner/photographer.
I don't do Windows.
I live and work in the Chicagoland area.
I grew up in rural Illinois, so I've lived the country and the city life.
I've been devoting more time to improving my photography skills, with hit or miss results.
I rendered a few naked ladies back when I thought that was the in thing.
It's harder to find naked ladies to photograph than one might think.
I like pie.

Great pic and oh so true. Small town farms are a dying breed that if they should ever pass will mark the end of this great country!

Tractors!!! Where are the sparklies??? ;) One of the parades I went to the first year I was here had a parade of tractors, and that's when I knew I was in a different world. I think this is a great shot, and view into small town life. Even without the sparklies. :) hugs

Oh Jason! HUGS Sometimes we need some challenges to get motivated. A great place for that is dreamslayerartworks.com There are other places like it, but other artists there challenge each other and it's pretty cool. I think our summers here are similar to yours. We have lots of farms and sweet corn and a little more north east we have cherries, plums, grapes, peaches.. Pennsylvania is pretty cool..atleast where I'm sitting.

I live in a small town in Michigan. We have the John Deere brigade (all green tractors) and until recently, a giant black and white cow float. I live on the main street so all the parades go right past my house. You forgot the Shriners in their little cars and also the horses and firetrucks! (grin)
