Hi, my name is Kim. My husband, Frank (ddaydreams) and I live in the Eastern Sierras, California, USA. We started out working with graphic programs like CoralDraw and Bryce. Mostly with digital artwork. I enjoyed making fractals and incorporating them with other programs, then I started adding artwork to some old photos I had. I use to be more into photography years ago, but never had the money (or time) to pursue it for more then a casual hobby. When the digital cameras became a little more affordable and we saw the ease of use and the things we could accomplish with our graphics programs...... well there you have it! One day Frank said "you ought to post one of your pictures at Renderosity" and the rest is history! Now we have artwork and photos in local galleries, a couple calendars out there, and we are even thinking about publishing a book!
And I have to give most of the credit to all the wonderful friends I have met right here on Renderosity!!!! Everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!!!
Thank you for viewing my gallery and check back often to see what progress we are making.

Yeah the sky could use some more colour and "shape"....but man oh man is that place gorgeous!!! Stunning clarity and contrast in the rest of the shot Kim. That vegetation (we have those edible flowers here too...hmmm...wonder how they would taste with pancakes..) in the foreground looks absolutely perfect. This is truly a beautiful place and you captured it just as beautiful. Well done indeed!!! Have a wonderful weekend #:O)

Beautiful scernery! I love the flowers in the foreground. Sometimes a hazy sky is just fine. :)

The file size is killing me but I just had to see the picture. LOL. I am going to have to look on the map to see where this is at. Looks like it is a not to much travel place, so remote and I love the absence of humans, especially their litter. A little humor.

Beautiful pic as was the last one. As far as the sky, if you have photoshop, you could make it into a seperate layer and play around with the levels, curves and saturation under images heading.

An amazingly beautiful landscape shot! Those wild flowers in the foreground are the icing on the cake! Me thinks rayburg is right about playing around with the levels, curves and saturation on a separate layer for the sky. A fantastic shot though!
