Description
What you see here is a traditional Dutch farmhouse as they were built in the 17th and 18th Century. This particular farmhouse is situated in Slingeland, a very tiny village in the middle of what we call the Alblasserwaard. A region packed with old farmhouses (many of them- like this one- restored and not longer used by farmers btw) and windmills. I very much like to be there, like today when i took this picture.

Simply charming ! I love this old house covered by the vegetation. In north of France, we've got the same type of houses. Perfect harmony, and a wonderful house to live in !
