Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 "Ok, enough of all the somber browns and greys you've been posting - how 'bout some colors, boy"! lol I thought the colors in this one had sort of an Easter vibe to them, therefore the title. And it IS Sunday.... A re-work and re-coloring of my Christmas card design. Yep, tons o' layers. I added a bunch more of the little silver centers to the "flowers". Each one took 5 layers/masks - some took 6-7 if there was a flower petal overlapping - because Orbit Traps "point" trap doesn't line up or "happen" in the flower centers so I had to make and position them all separately one at a time.... took a while....lol Thanks for stopping to "smell the roses"! Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

Flawless color and lighting. I wonder what it would look like without the sphere?

Lovely colors dude! And the petal work is awesome--the textures and the lighting and the different shapes (how did you do that ??!) I think I might not have gone with featureless buttons in the flower centers, but it's not bad. I'm wondering too how it would look without the stillborn cabbage in the sphere. For me I feel it's kind of a shame when the only way to add dimensionality in a UF fractal is by inserting the obligatory sphere (not that I have a better idea, unfortunately).

Your flowers are sooooooooooo pretty , Rick - all the trouble you have obviously taken has undoubtedly been worthwhile looking at this superlative creation ! The crystal ball is magical in it's effect and it is really lovely to see the petal spiral so neatly enclosed inside - somewhat like those decorative glass paperweights one sees in jewellry shops . Pure excellence ,Rick !

I almost missed this one.. it is so very special I have to limit my time on the computer, my eyes do not like the bright light from fractals and flat panel monitors.. ( how dumb can you be) but I try to slip in an hour here and there and ignore doctors orders... It is just too much soul food and good for my health...besides my eyes... And am I glad I did today otherwise I would have missed this beauty.
