Description
The Pinole Point area is now peaceful parkland... but for more than a hundred years, several makers of gunpowder and dynamite and explosives were situated here, "safely" out of town. ;)
Parts of the park are still fenced off because not everything has been dug up and defused and deactivated. Incredible waterfront location, but *I* wouldn't want to build on it. However, there are pretty hiking trails and places to explore even on a rainy day.
In the evening as the sky was breaking open, the light went all silvered.

It's so peaceful here ! You marvelously captured that sparkling water reflections, magically preserving the mood of this place. I wish I could be there and see it with my own eyes.
