Don't you know you are not allowed to say these kind of things in this gallery? :)

sigh If indeed you attended a university, it is obvious that a Critical Thinking class was not on the agenda. Such poor logic and yellow journalism type rhetoric will not convince anyone of the efficacy of your opinions.

Strange. Why does this image disappear when comments opposing it are posted? Will it remain now that the first comment is one of approval from a kindred spirit? You know, a, "Good...they died...thousands of them...hahahahah!" sort of mindset? Isn't that...umm..."censorship"? What a cheesy way to make people think your point is the most widely held. LOL!

Hmmm... I am unsure what the point of this is. Obviously nations go to war for practical reasons - and there isn;t a problem in the world with that. I suppose your all for the terrorist attacks.. that wasn't greed, just hate. Very noble.

I find it highly suspect when you re-post your images that you've previously deleted so you can get rid of all the previous comments about it. Sorry, 3DGod. Stick to art. Politics are beyond you. Plus, you skin is too thin.

we are killing children. no matter how you break it down. I agree with the guyon one thing at least, it's not worth it no matter what. like he said you can't feed dead kids. and you can't liberate dead women. I don't think we've tried hard enough to find a better way to deal with it.

'We Americans'? As I recall, we have the support of SEVERAl other countries behind us. Britain sent planes to aid us on our first bombing of Afgahnistan... I'm afraid I also remember Japan and Germany, two countries that were our enemies in the World Wars, denounced terrorism, and offered us support. Sounds like there are more people out there than 'Us Americans'...

IMHO, this war is nothing more then the Rich folks trying to protect their way of life... But, then again... all signs indicate that it's mutating into a "religious war"... I for one do not care about my lifeStyle. I do care & feel sad for the Children all over the world! What legacy i am leaving them indeed! :-( I think this time we will get our Parents's(They use many names: Gods, Aliens, Allah, etc...) attention! Although, my little voice tells me this is not a good thing! Marco

Whose done more damage to Afghanistan?? The USA or the Taliban? If we worked form now till the sun explodes we could NEVER equal the Taliban for brutality, terror and repression. There is a large space between MURDER and accidental bombing. They kill their own people for pleasure, political gain and religious fanatacism, with us, some guy types in a Z instead of an F on a smart bomb.

What's worse, Hussain killing tens of thousands of his own people, or us killing hundreds of thousands of them. What we did in Iraq was a discrace, and so is this. First Bush was a murderer and this ones even worse.

First off, 3D, Hussain has nothing to do with Iraq. King Hussain of Jordan was a staunch US ally and a man of peace. Saddam HUSSEIN, on the other hand is a cruel, monstrous dictator who we made a mistake with...we allowed him to continue. Do you actually believe we've killed hundreds of thousands of them with the sanctions? Do you think we haven't save Kurdish and Shiite lives with the overfly zones? Do you actually think we're to blame for the thousands of people starving in that nation while he is well-fed and the monies he gets in going to rebuild his military, not help those in need? Or haven't you bothered to read all the UN reports on Iraq, those same reports (by the organization you claim to champion) that are so critical of him?

3DGod you cannot enlighten a people who are brainwashed with lies. but I applaud your efforts. Perhaps you might want to change the order of your top ten list to be more effective. Oil is the #1 reason. To all of the people who rant against you, understand this, the real cost of gas is $2.00 + the blood of innocents. Think aboout that the next time you start your car.

Silvermage- Do you drive? Do you use electricity made from oil? Do you advocate for MORE nuclear powerplants so we do not use oil from other countries? Or do you just blow hot, effortless air because you have no solutions, only more problems? Why are all the enlightend one full of criticisem and empty of solution.

Im saddened by what is happening and Im frightened by what the future may bring. Im afraid that this is only the beginning. People are afraid of even bringing up the possibilities. People are angered by bebop, 3dgod, etc because they show us things that we already know. We know that innocent people on both sides have been and are being killed. Were not animals. We are extremely hurt by these pictures because we know that there is no other alternative. This is what must be done, and even this may not be enough. (Bombing Afghanistan) We know that if this escalates it could be our lives on the line and the lives of our children. Yes, our children. These pictures drive home the fact that if we dont stop them (terrorists) it could easily be our childrens faces in pictures like these. I have a son that is over there right now, and no, he is not a baby killer, he is a scared young man who is using his strength and courage to defend freedom and Im very proud of him. So like Pauline said, people like bebop and 3dgod are entitled to their say. We need people like them, to remind us, to keep us on track, to keep us angry.

I AM AFRAID OF AMERICANS

lookoo

9:50AM | Fri, 02 November 2001

ppowellaa, there is a whole rich mix of alternatives to bloody oil and nuclear energy: First of all, saving energy (that means USING LESS, YES, LESS)energy is the easiest answer since it comes along with basically little or no technological innovations necessary: Americans are often used to leave the lights on in their offices over night. Completely crazy in the view of Europeans. And there are enough cars to buy which only consume a fraction of what classical US cruisers swallow. If you dont need a machine, turn it OFF instead of keeping it running on standby. Houses with properly isolated walls need much less energy for heating. There are many more examples. And then there are renewables. Wind, water, sun. Other innovative technologies like the helium cell are just around the corner and would already be there if politics had ever sufficiently supported it. If the US is run by politicians who got rich on oil it is the people who have to make a start. Sorry, I just cant get this out of my head when I hear Dubbya saying that he will defend "the american way of life". There are many things which gotta be changed instead of defending them.

farwanderer

10:23AM | Fri, 02 November 2001

@Lookoo: Two of the renewable sources you mentions have problems of thier own. Both wind and hydro are both considered environmentally dangerous. Windmills kill birds that fly into the blades, and dams harm the fishes. I'm not joking when I say several environmentalist groups have shutdown wind farms and had electricity generating dams destroyed because of those reason. Not to mention that these same groups, either intentionally or by accident, have made it virtually impossible for a person to install a windmill, because of all the permits, red tape, and site test regulations.

Hey 3DGod....if a doctor told you that you have cancer of the liver and that an operation to cut out the cancer would save your life but that there was a high chance of inflicting minor damage to other organs due to the complexity if the operation, would you go ahead with the operation anyway or would you decide to allow yourself to die in order to preserve your other organs for a short while longer?.....I don't know if you are smart enough to work out that terrorism is a cancer......it grows in all directions and unless it is cut out, will eventually corrupt the entire body...planet Earth! So due to the extreme complexity of putting a smart bomb into a Taliban stronghold without killing and maiming the children and women who have been placed there on purpose by the Taliban who are using the civilians as a form of pathetic armour...........other organs get damaged!.I know that it sucks!....but would you rather allow the cancer to spread until it eventually reaches your suburb and your home?........Stop sobbing onto your pillow at night and face reality....ok?

I used to admire the works of renderosity, but individuals like 3DPutz disgust me. Everyone is politic all of a sudden, like anyone cares what you have to say. Mindless dribble. Iraq attacked an innocent nation. We responded. Terrorists balatantly killed thousands of innocent people for his religous beliefs. Mind you these were victims from many countries, not just the US. Now you act as if your Ghandi or something - what a punk. When your child gets anthrax and dies in your arms, will you still post the same mindless rot? People all over the world have their veiwpoint, good, great, such is life. But to intentionally and repeatedly inflame the emotions of such tragic events is base to say the least. I see you jumping up and down with glee at all the posts you get, how sad, how pathetic. Do you vote? are you politically active? Or do you just sit back with a joint and a double latte and blame it on "them"?
