Description
Holland has a lot of island. Most of them are situated in teh sea, but there are a few exceptions, such as the island of Tiengemeten. It is surrounded by a river, not a sea and it is almost inhabited. Almost.. just a few people are living there....
The island has a lot of acres covered with woods and it is getting much more of that soon.
In the nearby future the island will be given back to nature, so nature can rule again ther. Not very special for people who live in the US for instance, but it is for us, the Dutchies, because all nearly all the land available is cultivated.
The island Tiengemeten already has more or less wild horses..and this is a picture of them...made with a 450 tele. The birds above the horses are lapwings (Vanellus Vanellus).
