Hello all!
Good to be back again...
Thanks for all your wonderful comments and support as i am still in shock about my Nikon.
We called Nikon today .
Have a year warrenty but I do not know if it cover salt water damage... fingers crossed!
Ok about this shot.
Taken on Lake Michagan.
sunset two weeks back.
hiked
(well actually hopped out -lol got something nasty stuck into my bare foot some of whetever it was is still with me now-lol)
so got all the way to the end of the 2nd pier to the end and climbed up this old worn stairway up to other smaller light beam and got it all lined up and waited paitently for the sun to hit it just right
. and then this boat speeds by. ...I shot it anyway
It reminded me a bit of my uncles boat I used to ride on as a child cept his was a bit bigger.
and now I like the boat in it
A little old with the new.
My Mother and Grandmother grew up looking at this little beauty so its dear to my heart..

Bueatiful shot Kimmer, I love those old Light Houses, we have a few here that dot dot the coast of Florida, and i have gotten to see a few, but not all of them.Looks as if you had a Fantastic time on your vacation..........so glad ro see you back on RR my friend..............John

I think the boat is a bonus...it's not obtrusive at all...Love the lighting in this one, just a nice warm glow. Nice vibrant colors, such a magic hour..Sweeeeeet! Aloha~

This is such a beautiful capture! The sea and the boat and structure are complimented by the wonderous light and atmopshere of the sun! I've been to Lake Michigan several times and it's quite beautiful and nothing like the West Coast! Sorry to hear you stepped on a souvenier and dropped the camera in the water! That sounds painful and terrible respectively! Excellent work on this piece!
