My wife bought me a camera when I promised to give up smoking! I havn't had a cigarette for 3 months now but I still miss them.BIOBirth = 1962
Status = married (I don't deserve her)
Job = teacher (mostly economics)
Residence = Switzerland (not one of the beautiful bits)
Hobbies = Books (she says we have no more space)
TV (she says I watch too much)
DVD (she says they are a mess)
Food (she says I must loose weight)
Photography (she says my pictures are no good) - sighs
SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!

This really conveys the density of the accommodation there. Almost like the human equivalent of termite mounds. Kastakan

Almost abstract in just the buildings patterns if one croppes out the sky and hills. A most inteesting place indeed. Kind of sad not to see Junks sailing around anymore. I guess that is progress.

Whoa! That is amazing how a skyline of buildings can be such a beautiful sight.......from afar. Would not want to be in the middle of that!

What interesting colours and shapes these buildings are. I bet it was stifling there.

please tell me you tried this picture at night with the lights and reflections because right now I'm not sure but that might be the only thing that can top this one

This one has a bit more color to it! Isn't it amazing how so many people can cram themselves into such a small space? I know what you mean about the hot, humid weather - I spent two summers in Japan, where they call it "mushi atsui" :)

Beautiful shot, and like Egmont said, almost an abstract!

Wow, what an amazing city that must me. Sooooo crowded. I totally hear ya about the humidity. This particular swede had a hard time surviving two trips to Thailand. Sure likes it cool and dry, lol. Excellent capture once again. Have a great day #:O)

that part of the world only gets worse with clouds. When I went to the Filipines, I would take a shower at 4:30 am and would be perspiring before I could dry off. excellent capture and view

So many people here have travelled all over the world it seems but I have not... yet anyway! hehe So I truly appreciate getting to see this amazing city that I've only read about. This is a terrific shot and so many tall buildings! It seems much more colorful than the cities I have seen here in New York. And yes, Marlene is right...it is Hottttt and Humid here this summer too! :-)
