My wife bought me a camera when I promised to give up smoking! I havn't had a cigarette for 3 months now but I still miss them.BIOBirth = 1962
Status = married (I don't deserve her)
Job = teacher (mostly economics)
Residence = Switzerland (not one of the beautiful bits)
Hobbies = Books (she says we have no more space)
TV (she says I watch too much)
DVD (she says they are a mess)
Food (she says I must loose weight)
Photography (she says my pictures are no good) - sighs
SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!

Super contrast between old and new. You really capture the sense of the old and modern mingling. I like the sense of space here too. Glad you re-posted it! =]

Amazing viewpoint here...the huge mountains and the sea with a very futuristic city in between. In addition, you captured a very sweet portrait of the men fishing as they probably have for centuries! This is a very cool shot and almost unreal!! :-) Excellent!

Unique capture with the people in the foregrd and the hazy city bkgrd. Very well thoughtout and executed.

Nice idea. I don't know what you have done but the buildings look like an impressionist painting (which I like!). Or maybe it's natural haze.

Love the contrasts between the people calmly fishing and the hussel and bussel of a modern city. Wonderful capture!

I love that contrast of old and new as Kort pointed out.That's because we both remember the 'old' Hong Kong.Still so wonderful to see that some of the old ways will never die.A brilliant shot Charles.-M :)
