Description

Twilights Childern The Final Countdown You've noticed us. We wear many layers of armor. We wear many masks. But, if you look past all this. If we trust you enough to let you in. To see our heart. To see our soul. To truly see us. We have much to give, Much to offer. However, trust is not easy for us to give. So, tread carefully. Or we will run. Will you be the one? To teach us trust. Hope. Love. The one to bring us out of the shadows, To let us shed our armor, our masks? To be free? We are your future. Not much of one if we continue to hide. A bright one if we are free. It's The Final Countdown. For "Twilight's Children." Words for Twilghts Childern were wrote by my Dear freind Ginny...aka FallenAngelLPN...you can see the full version of this bueatiful writing in her Gallery http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=FallenAngelLPN This was done in Painter 8, and poser and Vue4.......the models were photographed, and placed in the scene......They are as follows from left to right...Roselyn, My daughter Stacy, and Jenna.......These three girls were just outstanding in capturing exactly what i wanted for this...........We hope you enjoy this work, and that it makes us all think a little about our childern and our future..........qmont & FallenAngel

Very powerful and moving image. The words by Ginny go perfectly. We can not forget our children; we must protect them and teach them. Excellent artwork!

John...this is even better than the roughdraft you showed me! I still say...you'r art captures it perfectly and stands strong on it's own...even without my words!

John, this is just a masterwork of meaning, image, and words blending together to form a powerful experience. It gave me chills, and more importantly, it gave me pause to think about the message - children are the precious seeds of the future that must be nourished and trust and love are what makes them grow. Fantastic how you've costumed and posed your sweet models and it makes it even sweeter that it is your daughter and her friends. A very emotive and memorable artwork that is definitely at the top of my favs. Fine, fine artwork and collaboration. Vote. :o) CC

Dear John. Again you make me totally speachless with your artwork. I know it may sounds strange when I say that I don't have the right words to describe your pictures, but it is honestly true. I wish I could write what I'm thinking in Norwegian, but then you would have not understand a single word of what I mean ;) This is so incredible wonderful work, excellent and outstanding are not even good enough for this masterpiece of art. Your art always makes me feel something inside of me, and that's what real art are to me. Your last pictures has given me a warm feeling of love inside, this one gives me a more sad feeling, and my heart really goes out for these children. You have captivated the words from FallenAngel so well, and your daughter and her friends has done a wonderful job when they have been models for this work. I can't believe how you can paint them after photos, but you sure can, and the result is outstanding! Their expressions are so wonderful and full of sadness, and the dramatic background with the lightning is gorgeous here! The way you have written the words on the wall is such an brilliant detail, and the way you have crossed out the words trust and love gives this masterpiece of art an really extra touch of greed. I love the way the two girls at the left is holding eachother, it gives hope to your picture. It is really not fair to call it a picture either, again I can only say,- your work belongs in a gallery with frame around it! You never stop amazing me with your work John, and this is for sure a new favorite of mine. Thank you so very very much for sharing your wonderful art with us, I trulu LOVE your work! This is so more that excellent! I wish I could give you 100 votes, but it definitly gets the one I can give :) ~Love and hugs from your friend, Hedda~

Hi qmont. I must say, this is just so real. I'm really out of words. I'm not much of a commenter, but I agree with every single word written by Hedda. This really brings feelings to my mind inside of me. I'm not so good to express my feelings in english either, but that's no excuse, because I don't think I could done it in norwegian either. I just want to say that this is really excellent. A superb job on the whole image. You have really brought the words out in this art. Vote

John, I saw this late last night, but wanted to read Ginny's pro's first before commenting, so now I have just been able to do so, WOW! So thought-provoking and sad, yet there HAS to be hope! There is no point to life if there's no hope.. The two together could be the start of a combined book! This is amazing art!

Hi my friend well you want an honest opinion so here I go: John this is so meaningful, it really touches me, think thats what an piece of art should do, touching people in some kind of way, and you definitely achieved this with your artwork above. Along with the written words it really makes one think over, another thing art should do, and again yours here does! I bet it was very exiting to work with life models so here are my compliments to your models, they did a very good job, I bet it took some shots till they got the expression that you wanted right ;-) So all in all this is really a remarkable job you and Ginny did with this one just let there be more!
