Looks like rough seas ahead; that'll be a hell of a ride. Fantastic painting! The ship looks incredible as sails the turbulent waters and into a brewing storm. Excellent artwork!

Sometimes...heading towards "The Point of No Return" is very exciting, even tho scarey...riding the waves is in some people's blood. I wrote once about running head-first into that which scares you the most. Once again...you've created a beautiful master piece...and once again, I have my own interpretation and story for it...maybe not what everyone else sees, but it's my view....always looking forward to your wonderful art John, as it's always worth the wait....Ginny

Every time I visit your new works I am just taken back in a breathless fashion that fills my heart with happiness! I grew up with Kansas, and there is so much inspiration to be found from their music! The vessel is just incredible and your ocean is so detailed and relaxing to the eye! A great feeling of adventure you created here, it's just a visual treat to the eyes!! Outstanding artwork!!!

Your oceans scenes looks awesome, and your painting is always such a pleasure to see. I wish I could paint scenes like this. Unfortunately I can't, but instead I can view your always such a wonderful work. Afgain your picture looks like a painting that should be hanging on a wall..the waves looks wonderful, and the way you hava painted them around that ship looks so natural.
