Description

A Russian friend of mine once told me a tale of a land of paradise that could be found if you followed the glittering path of the setting sun on the water of the ocean. I hope everyone has a sunny day or two that they can follow to a small bit of their own paradise. I did this w/ colored chalk and a bit of inspiration from a sunset I saw not too long ago.

Very appealing sunset colors used here! And the silhouetted palm trees are very well done! [My guess is the bluriness in the upper left corner is an artifact of scanning--I have the same issues (that and correct coloring!!) when scanning my own 2D images.] BTW, what kind of paper/surface did you use for this drawing?

Indeed I had a bit of trouble with my scanner on this causing some blurriness, i use medium weight 11 X 14 ( one reason why the full picture isnt here my scanner is too small) white sketch paper. Not exactly the best to use w/ chalks, but something i had close by at the moment :)
