Well I finished this in Orchestra class today during some free time. This is an English concept art project of mine, an illustration from a book we previously read called "Brave New World" by Auldous Huxley. Its a futuristic novel about human genetics and a utopian society, lacking individuality, and morals. The child fetus and pills in the left hand corner represent the genetic birth processes and the "soma" which are drugs taken by people in society " to feel better" and in the bottom left hand corner is the feet of one of the main characters called John or the Savage who eventually hung himself because he could not handle the utopian society views, his whip that he used upon himself, and his shakspearean books he found solitude and a connection to the past life of humanity. This is indeed a bizarre futuristic book, but it heeds a lot of warning and holds a lot of truth to societies functions today.overall this illustration represents how the control of humanity, conformity and lack of individuality is the death and downfall of civilization.
