Description
Calvary Cemetary is west of downtown Milwaukee. It's got different character from Forest Home, most notably the hills that give the place a bouncy feel.
In the case of the Drew angel, the landscape works well with the design of the statue. The statue is perched on a rise so from many angles, it appears the angel is in flight. The illusion is assisted by the sculptor's brilliant idea of supporting the statue by her trailing robe.

This looks so old.....but also soothing and tranquil as well I love looking at statues of angels in a cemetery that is really old... It also gives it a spooky atmosphere Excellent and Vote Susan~
