Description
Thought I'd better upload something, after reading the IML posts.....
I'm reworking an old picture "Dark Summons", using the Fire texture in IFA 5.0/IFW 1.0. (A lot more effective than the old fireball.itx!)
The pentagram was extruded, and the fire texture was applied, to make it look as if the flames were eminating from the pentagram itself. The image was rendered in two goes: First the ground/pentagram was rendered, with a small sphere, with Transpar and the fire texture applied, which was used as a light source to provide illumination from the flames. (Fire on it's own casts shadows....)
Then the 'background' and foreground were composited using the screen option in Project Dogwaffle.
(I have noted a problem in IFA 5.0- it won't allow a greater resolve depth, than 16, and the flames needs around 30+ to render properly...)
Modelled using IFA 5.0, and Rendered using IFW 1.0 on the works PC.

Hi Fellow IML user. Good to see you here. Looks good; like the fire effect. I, with you, like the 'fire'.itx better than the new. Hope you [and other IMLers] have and make more to post here.
