"I'm just too tired to care" - I think you hit the nail on the head there when it comes to so much depression, when the mind is in conflict with itself and there's that sinking feeling. I don't see this as a waste of time though. Like those vivid reds against the black. Well composed too.

would look better if it was just red and black and if the rope was blended in a little better and if the face didn't have so much contrast and was more visible. I would like it a hell of a lot if I gave a damn...

You convey one hell of a lot of feeling in this strong but minimal work, the crushing wieght of black emotions made painfully vivid by the striking contrast & colour, the hands of the figure & those who reach out to help appearing detached & helpless to change a thing. No time wasted here!
