Description

Photography made by Giancarlo in summer 1981 in a small village of Ligury in Italy with his Canon F1. Giancarlo was especially a photographer of Nature, but you already know that if you know his gallery... He diden't dare to make portraits because he was always afraid to obstruct people. But he has despite some photographs as this one which was important for him, because these persons touched his heart. This old woman was 83 years old, and made evey days its cources with her bicycle, and she had sympathized with him. I hope that you will like this shot too. Thank you for your comments on the last photograph of Giancarlo : Bee II Always, the link to our new Website : Home Page of Giancarlo Lucerni and Nathalie Masson Thank your for all your comments, and your friendship ! Sounds like me, feeling uncomfortable shooting people but year after year relations made me shoot them here and there! Beautiful work!

This is a wonderful image! I'm glad you posted it for all to view! I like the way you captured the height of the buildings surrounding the woman. I almost missed seeing the man standing on the left! :^)

A marvelous photo of this lady and her little dog. I see flowers up high outside of windows. A fantastic street scene.

In the early/mid 80's, I enjoyed those type of photos that were published in Atlas magazine(from Air France).

yes... it is a wonderful shot in all the great details, the little dog, the other woman, the little girl pointing, all in the charming narrow street of Italy :]
