Description

This is a collaborative piece. The sky and terrain image, "Hello Or Goodbye", was rendered in Terragen by JavaJones. So, I've posted the final in the Terragen gallery. The P-51 was rendered in Lightwave by me. I can't take credit for modeling the plane, it's a stock model that came with Lightwave. I just repainted it to suit my needs, renamed it, and threw in a pilot. Thanks again to JavaJones! Pin...

Gosh, I can see the plane flying! This is absolutely awesome! Love the clouds and light and atmosphere. Spectacular view and a great job on the plane.

I'm really pleased with how this composite came out. Pinmaker kept in touch every step of the way and has been very gracious. I didn't create the image with this in mind, but I must say it works very well. :)

Thanks to all. I used to fly years ago. Even flew in a P-51 once. What a rush! The title I've chosen for this piece is a line from from my favorite poem, the plane is my favoiite also. If you know the poem "Hight Flight" then I think you will agree JavaJones' image begged to have an airplane, "...join the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds, and chase the shouting wind along; high in the sunlit silence." Damn! I can't get over the Clouds and this Beautiful Sunset. Best render I've seen come out of the new beta. Surperb! Perfect Intergration of the Plane to! Congrats to both of you! TD2 is looking promising! I have a plan to use both versions for my works. Parts from the old and some of the new. Can't wait to dive in to this!

Wow.. .. The prop on the plane is excellent.. overall everything is excellent here.. take it from an 'ol crewchief coughs well not that old but one of the first female in USAF .. ~winks~ Beautiful POV!
