Description
August 16, 3:30 pm. Wayne's Drive-in is about 30 miles north of Leon's Custard. It's in a rural location at the junction of five roads northwest of Cedarburg. We're at the lull between the lunch and evening crowds.
Unlike the walk-up Leon's, Wayne's still has carhops, at least during the summer. One was on duty, tending the car off-camera to the left.
The matching building in back holds the freezer and restrooms.
I'll head back tomorrow and get a shot of the place at dusk so you can see the lights.
