light me up... by soulhuntre

Still working with light, trying to figure out how to make it do what I want. You could say I am trying to learn how to do special effects as oppose to simple renders.
This is a poser figure, with a lighted torus in her hands. The purpose was to figure out how to make an object emit light. Obviously the big renderers would do it, bit thanks to a post here on Renderosity I found Luminaire and it did just what I needed for free.
Credits:
- That's Shelby as the texture
- Pose is from an amazing set Schlabber did for me from a photograph. Amazing work and I can certainly recommend his stuff to anyone who asks. Thanks more than I can say.
- Lingerie by PhilC
- Hair is by Vairesh
- Victoria II by Daz
- Face and Lighting by Me
In case anyone is interested, that's 87,000+ faces.
Notes:
I know, her shoulder isn't right, and the hair transmap didn't work out perfect, but it's fine for the test it was. The only light in the scene comes from the ring. There was no post work other than the composit of the two images and my name and a small fix to her thong in the back for modesty.

try using your effects without the Tits and ass... see how many hits you get then.. really... this is a serious challenge!
