Description

Just a fairly normal material experiment.

That's a Max primitive, with a Multi/sub materiel. The main faces are a composite materiel of a purple base with a cellular material on top. I mapped the facing star polygons with a new sub-material, and copied the composite over - easy enough. The new sub material got a new effects channel.

 Lit with one spotlight.

Off to lens effects we go, a glow was put on the sub materiel's channel and set to trigger by brightness... that made the cells from the cellular layer glow on their own... not the whole star face.

Basic... boring... but I am learning :)
