Description

Entry for this month in the Challenge Forum (the theme is "summer's end"). The last flowers bravely raise their heads, but almost everything else has bloomed and set seed and scattered it as best it could on this windy hillside. The grasses are still heavy-laden, though, and a couple of puffed-up birds are fattening up for the winter. They didn't fly away, but continued their focus upon the feast at hand. Considering that this is August in the Bay Area, one wonders what they know about the coming season?

Awww... There were one of those trapped in the office building I work in on Tuesday morning. So I guided him all the way downstairs, very slowly cause the little birdy was scared and flustered. And on the ground floor I opened the door for him to fly to freedom :0)) Beautiful open capture. Well done! :0))
