Description

The coastline around Ambleteuse offers more than only rocks and water. Incredible sandscapes make me wonder how this lose sand is kept together. The grasses help to keep the sand together, but sometimes there are no visible grassroots and still the sand is kept together. The dunes show a variety of structures, hairs (grasses on top ), a face and a chin complete with wrinkles. This little dune-series will mark the end of the visit to Ambleteuse. After a few days I hope to be ready scanning those slides and then I can start to post the Swiss stuff.
