Description

The first day on our trip to Michigan , we went down to the beach at Sunset..,.down to where the old wooden breakers still stood weathered from years and and years, where my mother used to go as a child. IT is sometimes still hard for Chrissy to see Grandma Maggie without Papa. Grandama was there but Papa wasn't , so Chrissy got the idea to write to him in the sand so he could look down from heaven and see what she had wrote. I look at this and everytime I see it I cry . It shows a child's open heart. .. more than playing in the tide or looking for shells she set all that aside and, simply wanted Papa to know she loved and missed him..., and a hello to him- and so ,took the time to express all of that with a big heart and a little stick in the sand. Brings back memories of all the things my kids said and did, and it really chokes you doesn't it. Makes you want to hug em and hug em. When God made children he surpassed himself. Well done Kim.

This is a very beautiful image! Love the coloring in the sky and the pov from which you took this, it is as if you are on her level. It almost made me cry reading your words. Beautiful thoughts and image! :)
