Description

The destructive power of a pair of Rheinmetal-Borsig Mk 108 30 mm cannon has to be seen to be believed. A fearsome weapoon, weighing only 58Kg was capable of destroying a bomber in 2- 3 seconds. Bryce 5.5 Postwork in CS2. Got to give you guys something to go at? Thanks for your patience. Cheers everyone.

Just one minor detail, the Focke Wolf has a smoke trail and so should the B17 have that has been hit by the boogeyman, fuel, parts, smoketrails. Maybe you should add contrails as well, makes it just more dramatic. Other than that, a magnificent picture, well done.

I'm with RopbertJ on this but the contrails would be a mistake. Great image.

Great composition, add the smoke as suggested, flare out an engine with flames, get the forward fortress topp ball gunner firing at the departing germans, and you have a superb image.

Looks to me like it's at least a B-17g judging by the chin turret. - Nice image!

I agree with the Bryster. No contrails. One of your best for my money.

IMHO ... no contrails. & not all hits create fire. As to the .50 cals POA - it's your work - point 'em where you want to, we can assume they are ready for incoming instead of wasteing lead on the departing. Mind if I mention that every 5th round on .50's are tracer, which leave both streaks and smoke. also they loose weight quickly and drop off sooner than the AP rounds. OHH PLEASE market the B17. I would get on my knees and beg but it takes two policement to help me up again. LOL. This is terrific. Am I the only one who sees a VOTE being well and truly earned here for near photogenic detail?

To RETIRED : A reasonably good selection of WWII aircraft models can be found at www.meshfactory.com and at cacheforce... Use "cacheforce" as a search criteria in google, it should give you good results. These are all commercial models, though. I've been using some of these in my renderings and they do translate to Bryce quite easily.

I love this!! You have done an excellent job of painting in the blurred props. I will give you a link to show how I do blurred props within Bryce 5 and it should work in 5.5 equally well. Might as well let Bryce do as much of the work as possible. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Haven/2470/proptut.html
