Description
The war is over. De Havilands badly needed work so they built the Dragon Rapide. I was fortunate to fly in one of these on my first visit to the Scilly Isles.
Bryce 5.5, Poser 6, Post in CS2.
3D Model kindly provided by Peter Bratt.
(The trouble with most 3D models is that they look like models. That's why postwork and patience are required to give authenticity).
Different from my usual aerial violence.Hope you like it folks. Thanks for looking.

This is really nice. Both realistic and good composition. I always thought Dragon Rapide was an interesting looking aircraft, happy to see a well done render of one.

What a beautifully executed airplane. Agree with Kjer; you are the master of aircraft. This bird has beautiful lines, wish I could see and fly in one.

You are so right, nicely postworked, but my eye still wanders to the water plane, set a bit to high for the foreground, still damn fine work!

Having done the Scilly flight recently on a DH Twin Otter I appreciate the picture 0f an earlier DH making the run. About the remark below the Rapide flew throughout the war as a communications link I used to see one pass overhead almost daily. Great stuff thanks.
