Description

- Blue Line Jackson Street Station - Chicago, Illinois - Went out to work on a project. Heard the Blue Line train at the platform. Rushed to catch it... and missed it by seconds. Snapped three shots out of frustration. Low light, fluorescents, no tripod, moving train, yanking my camera up to shoot. Couldn't have asked for worse conditions, really. And all three photos really stunk! The day was pretty much a bust. Never got good skies and the subjects were boring. But I liked the composition of this shot so I postworked the hell out of it. I think it came out fairly interesting considering the starting point. For those of you who follow my Poser work... it's been slow going recently. Having trouble coming up with ideas I actually want to commit to bytes. Thanks for sticking around through my pauses and photography. :) Comments, suggestions and criticism are always welcome... and appreciated.

I really like this one.. the bluish tint kind of gives it a spooky feel, especially when you look close and see the people inside the train. I saw the original photo, so I'm impressed with the postwork you put into it. I know what you mean about thinking of ideas for Poser. I looked through every background I have, trying to come up with something, and nothing.... Muses can be fickle.

This image almost appears to be haunted. The blue tone helped achieve this feel I think. There are so many beautiful things to photograph I have never had the time for anything else! ;)

Don't know what postwork you did on it , but the result is great. You had to miss this train... at least I'm glad you did ;-)

the bluish tone, perspective & motion look great here... having to stick through your photography shouldn't be a hardship :]

Fabulous photograph - would have been a stunner if the platform was sharp - like the blue tones :)

I think it came out pretty damn good considering all the conditions you mentioned above. Now that's what's called making lemonade out of life's lemons S Wonderful work.
