Description

Ever read Poul Anderson and Gordon Dickson's HOKA stories? They were broad parodies of various genres in the form of stories of a race of hyper-imitative ursinoids. Show some Hokas a movie and the next thing you know they've restructured their lives and rebuilt their city to match the story. I've used them as an excuse to do a lot of pastiches. This one is based on Keith Parkinson's "Forgotten Realms" 1989 calendar for TSR. Acrylic paint on 14x14 masonite

really cool illustrations. i like it. looks fun. little bear hero's and fighters of villains. love the little "holiday inn", and the bear in the eye of the dragon too. neat!
