I Just Gotta Be Me! by TwoPynts

Do you know someone who moves to the beat of a different drummer? Are you like that? My son Connor definitely does. Heck, he moves to the beat of his own set of bongos! I took this playful portrait of him while we were waiting at the VW dealership for my car to be serviced. He has an enthusiasm for life that I wish I could tap into and bottle...I'd sell millions. Connor is 5 and just started Kindergarten. His free spirit and inquisitive ways are causing him to have a tough time adapting to the regimentation of school, but I know that he'll find his niche eventually and go on to do some amazing things. So this photo is for you Connor. Hang in there buddy, I know you can do it. Never loose the spark of individuality that makes you who you are! =o] ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your footloose comments on yesterday's image, And We Can Dance.

If schools could only learn how to harvest and nurture a child that see things differently, we would not have one da Vinci, but thousands.

All the very best to Connor and I hope that he will make his peace with the school system and learn to take advantage of what schools can offer (No - I'm not going to quote Pink Floyd 'We don't need no edu...... etc')
