Description

Last of the pictures I will post from Shenzhen. Next time I go there, I shall hope to be more photographically inspired. Today's picture is not the most dramatic of those I took during my recent holydays, but it is homage to a technical innovation that may have done more than any other to change the world

This almost looks like a piece of fabric. I like the repetition of the shapes. What does it sound like when everyone comes home from work?

LOL, truly an indispensable item here in the desert! Bah! Who needs heaters! Magnificent image; actually brings to mind the Soviet living blocks but without the air-conditioners - Bah! Who needs air-conditioners :-) Well done sir!

I most agree with one of the previous comments regarding fabric design. It is an incredable image, in part because of its simplicity and the abstract quality it carries. Have a great weekend. Egmont

I feel sorry for those windows without one! They're a real necessity in the hot, muggy weather of summer :)

I heard that many of the apartments are no more than boxes with large families crowded into it like sardines
