I find this a very powerful image, a great concept and beautifully executed. Your comments about the nature of censorship above and beyond our usual concepts regarding free speech and media censorship are very thought provoking. This is a great effort which has really come off, I can't wait to see the last in the series, I bet you have saved the best till last.

My heavens, there is censorship everywhere. But do we recognize something that usually accompanies it? Propaganda (sometimes called the Spin today)! A form of distorted story to rewrite facts and try to undermind what is being censored, thereby brainwashing unsuspecting minds. Censorship and propaganda (spin) cheat all of us of our dignity, respect and rights. Your photo-collage is a perfect call to be alert. And it is a magnificent work of art. Thank you for sharing your layer work. It is wonderful to see how you brought it all together to make a very impacting, powerful image. V

Censorship and discrimination, all kinds of negative feedback. And ho easy do we make the choice that's the easiest for us? Peace on earth, sung by angels, but it's still far away! Gorgeous work and quite a statement! Excellent work!

I love the esthetics of this composition, still a superb work Egmont. To see you as that in a photograph of profile... that really makes me think of the photographs which take the police officers when a criminal record is opened to you... It's of a terrible realism !!! You put the finger in your new series on very major and serious subjects, which don't leave anybody at least indifferent (I hope of this....). That will become more difficult to express me in a coherent English way, so much worse for the faults, you will forgive me ;-))) The Censorship is one of the most serious things for me in our way of life. And still we have the chance to have a great freedom despite everything, the simple fact of being able to freely publish these photographs and our opinions prove it. But when I think of all the journalists, the writers, to all these men and these women who were made kill, or who are in prison in various countries of the world, because they expressed their opinion... that makes me really cold in the back. But even in our countries... we are never completely free statement is saying free or to show what we want. That it is in the world of work, in our lives of every day, everywhere... Censure has always existed in a form or an other, and I fear that that is not always the case. But the right of expression for me is fundamental, and I ensure you that I will be ready to pay very expensive to keep it ! even if it means to endanger my one life ! Thank you once again Egmont, to force us a little to react, and to think of all those which cannot do it...

i've looked at this many times and studied it for a long time. i really love this, Egmont, and i think it's the lighting that i'm fascinated with. the design is superb, and it makes for an intense and powerful statement. i agree that censorship is around us every day. sure is. Oppression too. the world we live in wants us to CONFORM. employers want to try to control us...down to what color socks we wear. doesn't matter if no one ever sees them...long as they can control it. co-worker relations a form of censorship? it's a problem for management to be friends with non-management because that would indicate lack of fairness. In reality, there is no fairness though. anyway, you've made a superb image here Egmont...thought-provoking to say the least!

Wow, and I thought the first image in this series was intricate. Amazing postwork with layers Egmont. And you really got me thinking with this one. It is amazing what censorship we accept as normal unless a revealing light is shone upon them as you have done here. While some of these limitations are in place to help society run more smoothly, many and quietly unjust. Wow.

well, censorship is a great issue of these days... the censorship is just a way of stepping down on the individual liberty - since nobody takes a stand, well...this could continue over the years, although our fights from the past, present & future is related to individual liberty. sorry, I'm not so good at this subject, so I just have to say that your image has a good visual impact and, as cyn said already, could be a part of any good magazines.
