In Memorium (A dedi to 'Lappy') The Shade Garden,Crathes Castle,Banchory,Scotland Sigh...;) Hi everyone.What a difficult and trying week this has been.I have only had sporadic access to RR as my laptop,(a.k.a.'Lappy'),died a most untimely and premature death.Unfortunately 'Lappy' was my only access to my photos and photoshop as well.And naturally I was petrified that some of my Scotland pics were never to be seen again.(Yes.I know.I should always back up my files.Okay.I was foolish.Trust me.That will NEVER happen again!) Well,that is all behind me now,as Lappy has been replaced by a full-grown pc,with a real monitor and everything,lol.(Lappy was kind enough to expire just before a certain occasion where a gift for me was in order.Good timing Lappy!MWAH!) And on that note,I wish to bid a fine farewell to my dear departed Lappy with this dedi.Goodbye sweet Lappy.Whilst you may have been inconstant,and sometimes failed me in ways too numerous to mention,you tried your best to make me happy.I will always remember the good times we had,from playing with photoshop to our travels to Florida and Scotland.Adieu my friend.Rest in peace. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment on my little pickie here and for tolerating my frequently incessant and self-indulgent babble.I assure you,it is most appreciated.:D Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and an even better week.MWAH!!! ROFLMAO...Marlene you are too funny!!! hehehe Pooor Lappy! We will all miss him(?) as he has brought us all here in RR so much Joy in your images. :-) I am SOOOO happy you got them all back and that you have a new PC! WOW!!! Happy Days... I bet you are having a blast with it. Can't wait to see what you send next; be gentle with the new little guy, break him in easy. LOL Beautiful dedi and memorial to "Lappy" with fantastic lighting and tones. :-) VOTE and Happy belated B'day!!! :-)

For starters I am kind of glad lappy was put down. Not that it died, but just put aside.They are good for on the run, but you will be much happier with what you have now... anyway a fitting shrine for Mr.Lappy.

Ouch! I hope you were able to recover the data! I know what its like to lose stuff :( Thanks for being the poster girl for backup! I will backup right away!! Good to hear you got a new PC! I would hate to think you couldn't post. Love the memorial! Very funny!

I am very sorry to hear about Lappy. This image has a timeless quality that will serve well as a memorium. I hope you are able to access Lappy's HD to retrieve your old files, it would be a shame for them to be lost forever. Anyway, congrats on the new set-up! :) ...I read the comments and see that you did indeed recover your images...phew! =o]

sorry to hear about your laptop.. my compt just died too i am on my old one now i miraculously got running my daughter )teen ) keepz killing my compts going on KAaZaa and uploading music that brings nasty togans and im not talking condoms lol... augh... i feel for you it really is hard to lose stuff i have learned to save more thank god i got my mich shots on disc so i have stuff to put up till i get a new cam sorry so long winded lol .. faboulous shot and tribute to a lost love.. sigh))))
