Description
My apology for not commenting on many images lately. I'm currently on hormone medication prior to starting radiotherapy on my prostate. This, coupled with my fibromyalgia, isn't doing a lot for my enthusiasm and concentration right now :) The prognosis for the cancer teatment is good, so, hopefully, things will get back to 'normal' over the next few months.
Having said that Miki did tempt me into trying something, although I've resorted to more post processing than I usually like to rely on.

The image is a Poser 6 Firefly render with post processing in PSP8.
Thanks for taking the time to view and for any comments you might leave, Mike

I think this Miki character is really cool and you've displayed her expertly. Good luck with the radiotherapy. My father has cancer as well and will begin a more aggressive chemotherapy very soon. You have my best wishes.

This is really great. I think you pretty much nailed the skin, hair, and eyes. Looks very convincing! If the teeth had just a touch of mapped translucency, it would be hard to distinguish this render from reality. The DOF is great, and the face/expression are priceless! Awesome work.

This looks totally perfect except for the eyes . . . the left one (her left) is pointing too far towards her nose, which makes an otherwise great render look really creepy. Just fix that and everything's peachy.

This is a superb render. Her eyewhites and teeth are great. Love her milky skin. Extremely well done.

just wonderful expression! i mean, the light, the colors, the depth of field are all very technically accurate and skilled, but the expression has such great warmth and feeling. that's what grabbed me and made me come in for a closer look.
